Evergreen Azaleas
Dr. Sandra McDonald Introductions
Dr. Sandra McDonald of Hampton, VA, has been hybridizing since the mid 1970s. For many
years, she and her husband Ken operated LeMac Nurseries, a wholesale operation
specializing in azaleas and rhododendrons. Sandra has introduced a number of outstanding
evergreen azaleas, many of which we are able to offer here. She has also developed several
excellent rhododendron hybrids that
can be found in the Elepidote Rhododendron section of our plant sale.
